Inside Out Ornaments!
Bring the bling without all the bother! The glitter goes on the inside of these crafty and cool creations. It’s okay to go crazy with color too! There are so many options available for micro-glitter, don’t stop at red and green!
You will need:
- Clear plastic ornaments
- Clear Elmer’s Glue
- Micro-glitter—the finer the better, I like Martha Stewart available at Michael’s or Joann Fabrics
- Paper cups
How to: Remove the metal ornaments caps and set aside. Turn the ornament upside down and pour some of the clear, floor wax inside. Swish the glue inside the ornament—then turn the ornament over, and rest it inside a paper cup. You can reuse the extra glue that drains out. Next, carefully pour the micro glitter inside the ornament. Place your finger on the top of the opening of the ornament and slowly rotate the ornament to ensure a nice, even coat of glitter. Return the ornament to the paper cup to let it rest and dry.
Let the ornaments dry undisturbed for about 2 hours before recapping and adding a hanger. We used ribbon for ours to add a little extra color and pattern!
