Sneaky Stash!

My sister used this one when her boys (my fully grown nephews) were little. The amount of toys and other treats the kids received for the holidays was immense. Between Santa, grandparents, and doting aunties and uncles, their house looked like the entire inventory of a Toy R Us store had exploded in their family room. But my crafty sister had a solution! Enter Holiday Hack #11–The Sneaky Stash.

You Will Need

• Nothing but a haul of toys and a great hiding spot

Gather toys after opening, and then ask the kids to each pick 2 or 3 they want to play with, then keep the others in storage and gradually release them throughout the year. This keeps their interest piqued and the post-holiday debris in check.
