Family FunSpot: Air Fryer Fun
Brownies
5/26/21
These are beyond easy-peasey. All you need is your favorite boxed brownie mix, Kraft caramel bits or candy pieces, and you’re on your way to Yum Land.
You will need:
- Favorite boxed brownie mix
- Water
- Egg
- Vegetable oil
- Silicone mini cupcake pan and cup-liners
- Kraft Caramel Bits or preferred candy (See below)
Instructions:
Mix brownie batter according to box directions and set aside
Place mini cupcake liners in tins
Fill the baking cups with about 1/3 of the way full
Place a few Caramel Bits into each cup
Cover the Caramel Bits with another small spoonful of batter—the cup should be about 2/3 full
Bake a 350 for 15 minutes test with a toothpick. (If the toothpick comes out clean—they’re done. If not, bake at 3-minute intervals until the pick comes out clean. Remember that the caramel pieces will create a melty goo—which is different than raw, chocolate batter.)
Try a few variations once you have mastered this basic recipe. Add a Junior Mint candy piece into each for a chocolate mint brownie. Add Heath candy pieces for a toffee-filled brownie or cut-up pieces of your favorite candy bars—like Snickers, Milky Way, or M&Ms!
Finish off a warm mini brownie with a little dollop of ice cream—you know, to cut the sweetness!

Set your air fryer to 325 degrees

Lightly brush the outside of the pie with olive oil and a smidgen of garlic powder
Place in the air fryer with plenty of room between each pie as they expand in size
